Nov. 8th, 2018, Nuohai Life Science visited Wuhan University with NanoAssemblr from Precision NanoSystems. Researchers in Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology were given a detailed instruction about the technology principles and applications of NanoAssemblr, together with a in site demo. The Demo successfully demonstrated the NanoAssemblr's advantages in the field of nanomedicine preparation, and its excellent efficiency was supported by all researchers.

Precision NanoSystems’ NanoAssemblr Benchtop system is designed for rapid prototyping of novel nanoparticles, that would be difficult to make with alternative manufacturing methods.
The system uses proprietary microfluidics for the quick and precise mixing of nanoparticle components. Users can tune size (~20 to 120+nm) by changing process and composition – tweakening parameters such as mixing ratios and flow rate to achieve desired and reproducible results.
Microfluidics Technology
1. An aqueous phase and a miscible solvent containing dissolved nanoparticle precursors are injected into each inlet of the NanoAssemblr cartridge
2. Under laminar flow, the two phases enter asseparate fluid streams
3. Microscopic features engineered into the channel reproducibly control the mixing of the two streams
4. Surface area between the solvent and aqueous phases increases, and diffusion distances decrease as mixing continues
5. Complete mixing is achieved within 1 ms, causing arapid change in polarity that triggers assembly of nanoparticles
6. Rapid, controlled, homogenous mixing produces homogeneous nanoparticles
